A Thank You To & Useful Numbers

I would like to start by saying…i’m not a psychologist or a scientist. I’m writing from my personal experience of sexual violence, and about things i’ve researched and learned about throughout my recovery. Navaehh Smart is my pen name.

I would like to say a Special Thank You to my daughter, my family, the police, the Blue Door, my ISVA and DAP, for helping me from the very first day i reported the crime. I couldn’t have made it this far without them, or without the kind and loving support from my family.

Well friends…it’s been quite a journey, a long and tough one. I’m not where i want be yet, but the progress i’ve made this year is something i know i should be proud of, and i hope that with time and support, that you will begin your journey of healing too. But remember that healing is a difficult journey that takes time and effort…be patient, caring and loving to yourself.

You don’t have to suffer in silence…remember this is Your Voice, this is Your Story!
